Vincent Bloomer is a Dragoon of the Alpha Clan. He is the oldest son of Chieftain David Bloomer and Annapurna Bloomer. During his time in the field he was sergeant of Garuda Squad. Shortly before the invasion of Roommenor he is assassinated by rogue elements within the Alpha Clan.
Early Life[]
As the first child of the Chieftain, Vincent had something of a blessed childhood till his siblings arrived. Even from a young age he displayed a level of fortitude and maturity that impressed his relatives and instructors. In the academy he successfully met every challenge given to him and was typically lauded as a model Dragoon.
After graduating the academy he is placed in Archer Squad for a short spell before being promoted to sergeant and transferred to Garuda Squad.
Garuda Squad[]
As sergeant of Garuda Squad, Vincent once more demonstrated the traits that had led to his acclaim during his cadet days. Time and again his squad would be placed in the toughest places and consistently they'd pull through due to his leadership and strategies. As his victories mount so does his popularity, making life unsuspectingly harder for his younger siblings.
With the launch of the Shah Campaign, Vincent insists Garuda Squad be in the forefront of the action and they become instrumental in cementing Alpha Clan control in the region. However as the campaign turns to anti-insurgent operations Vincent finds himself with a target on his back as the son of the Chieftain. Despite his own dismissal of the issue and added security around him, Vincent is still the victim of a suicide bombing. He survives but finds himself disabled from the waist down.
Operation Achilles[]
Refusing cybernetic surgery to fix his nerve damage, Vincent is pulled off front line duty and placed instead into intelligence. One of his first tasks is to help pave the way for the Alpha Clan's destruction of the Zeta Clan, a operation later code-named: Achilles. Connecting with spies and turncoats such as Alexander Bryant, Vincent is able to lay the ground work for the operation. When Achilles is a massive success both he and the Chieftain are among the first lauded for it. For his work on the operation he is promoted to hauptmann.
Later Career and Death[]
With the Zeta Clan removed all of Vincent's time becomes dedicated to helping plan the Invasion of Roommenor. He continues to work with Alexander Bryant which garners him some disdain among more conservative Dragoons and his popularity takes another dip when he supports his father's decision to elevate his younger brother Jeremy to Chieftain for the invasion. With the destined invasion looming, age old rivalries come unearthed some of which quickly sour into conspiracies. During a routine staff meeting Vincent and Alexander Bryant are both killed by a bomb. His death changes the way the Alpha Clan provides security for its nobility and sees the arrival of the Omega Clan to fill that niche.
